INVEST IN BUILDING THE SOUTH ASIAN CANADIAN NARRATIVE

HELP IGNITE SOUTH ASIAN CANADIAN STORYTELLING THROUGH CINEMATIC ARTS

IFFSA Toronto created the IFFSA Talent Fund in 2021 to act as a catalyst for building the South Asian Canadian narrative through cinematic arts. For 120 years, South Asian Canadians have been building a legacy which deserves to be highlighted through cinematic storytelling. By providing a vehicle to involve private donors and sponsors to support the development of South Asian Canadian cinematic arts, the IFFSA Talent Fund provides creative talent with the resources to bring their stories to life. The Fund mainly relies on philanthropic donations from corporations, along with the generosity of individual donors from across the country.

IFFSA Talent Fund’s initial focus is on short narrative films. As the initiative builds capacity and grows, the goal is to support feature projects and ultimately other streams of media including digital media.
